Bridging Finance Limited has always had strong relationships with property developers, but the recent request to complete £2.2 million in three days was always going to be a challenge!
Following a disappointing outcome from another finance provider, NGR Property Development approached Bridging Finance Limited to see if we could provide funding for the purchase of a plot of land, with the intent to develop it into a substantial mixed-use site.
We were approached on the Wednesday, with the clients needing to complete by Friday of the same week. It was crucial that the site was acquired within these timescales as the agreement to purchase had been made on this basis and the transaction was in danger of falling through. Due to strong relationships with professional sector advisers our solicitors, Field Cunningham, were able to hold an immediate ‘round table’ meeting to complete the necessary legal requirements. Our strong connection with surveyors Lambert Smith Hampton enabled us to obtain all required reports within the necessary timescales.
